Defoaming Impeller
Design Features

The defoaming impeller is designed to eliminate large amounts of foam covering the liquid surface.

  • High-speed type: centrifugal force generated at high speed draws foam inward from the center and throws it toward the vessel wall as liquid droplets, providing effective foam breaking.
  • Medium-/low-speed type: a rotating serpentine-grid impeller continuously breaks newly formed bubbles, controlling foam buildup. It is widely used in fermenters with good performance.
